Job Opportunity: Endoscopy RN (Travel Assignment)

Location:

• University of Vermont Medical Center area
• Reliable personal or rental vehicle strongly recommended (no public transportation access)
• Vehicles should have all-season or snow tires from November to April

Contract Length:

• 16 weeks

Schedule:

• 9-hour rotating shifts (ROT)
• On-call required
• Monday through Sunday coverage
• No block schedules

Job Requirements:

• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Experience in a large, teaching facility required
• Must be skilled in starting IVs, assessing history and physical (H+P) information, and post-procedure recovery for patients receiving conscious sedation
• Responsible for administering conscious sedation medication and monitoring patients in the procedure room
• EPIC electronic medical record experience within the past 2 years is mandatory
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred

Additional Information:

• Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays
• Complete work history required, including bed count, EMR, and facility type
• All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
• COVID and flu vaccine declinations accepted with proper documentation

Notes:

• The facility performs many ERCP procedures
• No floating to other units
• Distance pay rates vary by mileage radius (not included here)
