Travel RN Opportunity – Nashville, Tennessee

Position Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac/Post-Op Care
Employment Type: Travel
Location: Nashville, TN
Unit: 5T PCU (Progressive Care Unit)
Unit Size: 33 beds
Patient Ratios: 3:1 or 4:1
Scheduling:
- 36 hours per week
- Work every other weekend
- Flexible to fill in scheduling needs
Floating Policy: First to float
Documentation System: Meditech
Dress Code: Scrubs in Galaxy Blue, Red, or Black

Required Experience & Skills

Experience with post-operative CABG patients, vascular, and general cardiac patient populations
Knowledge of cardiac drips/titrations and electrolyte replacement
Experience managing chest tubes, epicardial pacing wires, and TR bands

Certifications & Licenses

BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
NIH Certification
Valid Registered Nurse License

Unit Environment

Unit Secretaries available Monday-Friday, 7 AM to 7 PM
Nurse Externs available at times
Mixture of experienced and new nurses with strong teamwork
Orientation includes unit-specific policies, guidelines, and recognition information

Contract Length

13 weeks
