Job Opportunity: RN Dialysis

Location: Denville, New Jersey
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work schedule: 3 shifts per week, each 12 hours long
• Required to work 2 Saturdays per month
• Stand-by duty at least once per week from 7 PM to 7 AM (Monday through Saturday)
• Stand-by duty once per month on Sunday from 7 AM to 7 AM Monday
• Back-up stand-by once per month on Sunday from 7 AM to 7 AM Monday
• Must be willing to work across 4 hospital campuses (Denville, Dover, Passaic, Newark)
• May include work at Kindred LTACs in Dover and Passaic campuses
• On most days, a third dialysis shift must be completed before leaving

Required Credentials & Compliance

Licenses & Certifications

• Registered Nurse license verified via Nursys
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• DCI/BVP (Workplace Violence Prevention) training
• Prime Specialty Exam (minimum 80% score)
• Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam (minimum 80% score)
• Prime Basic Rhythm Interpretation Screening (minimum 80% score)
• Prime Core Competencies Exam (minimum 80% score)
• Prime Skills Checklist

Health & Immunizations

• COVID-19 vaccination series plus booster or documented declination
• MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) immunity proof (2 vaccines or positive titer)
• Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity (declinations not accepted at some locations)
• Influenza vaccine or declination (required during flu season)
• TB test within 1 year of start date
• Varicella vaccination or immunity proof
• Tdap vaccination (declinations not accepted at some locations)
• Annual physical/health statement confirming fitness to work

Testing & Background

• Annual respirator fit test (must be completed prior to start if not available onsite)
• Prime Drug Screening (minimum 10-panel including THC, within 60 days of start)
• National criminal background check within 1 year of start date (with some state-specific timing requirements)
• Prime SAM/EPLS exclusion check
• Prime Agency Attestation (completed after all credentials are uploaded)

Identification & Documentation

• Valid Driver’s License, State ID, or Passport
• Prime Badge Photo (clear headshot with plain background)
• Prime Form I-9 (Employment eligibility verification)
• Prime Orientation Packet (Essentials form and post-test)
• Signed Prime Job Description
• Prime Education Verification
• Prime Resume and two professional references required for submission

Additional Notes

• Must be flexible to work across multiple campuses and facilities
• Stand-by and back-up stand-by duties are mandatory
• Completion of a third dialysis shift on most days is required before leaving
• All credentials and compliance documents must be current and uploaded prior to onboarding
