Job Opportunity: Med Surg Oncology RN (12-Hour Night Shifts)

Location:

• Lynchburg, VA

Contract Length:

• Approximately 13 weeks (about 3 months)

Position Details:

• 12-hour night shifts ending on Saturdays
• Orientation every other Monday
• 2 to 3 weekends per month, depending on unit needs
• Travelers float first based on staffing needs
• IV skills to be offered with limited return to office (RTO)
• Start date around December 15
• Client may cancel assignment up to 36 hours in advance due to census fluctuations

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant specialty (Med Surg Oncology)
• Active Virginia or Compact nursing license required at start
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience is mandatory
• Cerner electronic health record experience preferred
• No chemotherapy certification required

• Locals are now accepted for this assignment
• Only one assignment allowed, no renewals

  • Work history with explanations for any gaps over 90 days
  • Skills checklist
  • Copy of Nursys/license
  • All requested time off must be included at submission
• Approved declinations for COVID/Flu vaccines accepted
