Job Details

• Preferred experience: 2-3 years
• Work Days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday (No call)
• Preferred start date: December
• Orientation: 3-4 days
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS
• Clinical areas involved: robotic XI, orthopedic, spine/neuro, general/gyn, some ENT, some ophthalmology, pain management, urology, vascular, and Level 2 Trauma

Required Certifications & Competencies

• ACLS (AHA Instructor, Provider, or RQI acceptable)
• PALS (AHA Instructor, Provider, or RQI acceptable)
• BLS (AHA Instructor, Provider, or RQI acceptable)
• NRP (as applicable)
• CHEMO (as applicable)
• TNCC (as applicable)
• EFM (as applicable)
• ENPC (as applicable)
• NIH Stroke Certification (as applicable)
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
• Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication) for RNs

Background & Compliance Requirements

• 7-year background check within 30 days of start, updated annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start
• HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start
• I9 or Attestation
• Government Issued Photo ID (Driver’s License/State ID)
• E-Verify or Attestation
• NURSYS Verification for RN, LPN/LVN, AP within 30 days of start
• State License Verification within 30 days of start
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (annual update)
• Facility-specific documents including Standards of Conduct, Dress Code Policy, Standards of Behavior, COVID Declination (if applicable), HIPAA and Fair Warning Quiz, Orientation and Safety Training Modules, Annual TB Questionnaire

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical Exam within 1 year of start
• Fit Mask Test within 1 year, updated annually (N-95 or Halyard Orange Duckbill masks accepted; PAPR not accepted)
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years
• Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray (PPD, QGold, or TSpot within 1 year; Chest X-Ray within 2 years if positive)
• Rubeola (Measles) immunity: positive titer or 2 vaccines (booster if low/equivocal)
• Mumps immunity: positive titer or 2 vaccines (booster if low/equivocal)
• Rubella immunity: positive titer or 2 vaccines (booster if low/equivocal)
• Hepatitis B: positive titer, series, or declination
• Varicella immunity: positive titer or 2 vaccines (booster if low/equivocal)
• Drug Testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Flu Vaccine or Declination during flu season (Oct-April)
• COVID-19 Vaccine preferred but not required
