Job Description

• Operating Room position requiring a skill level of 3 or higher on the Skills Checklist for Neuro, Ortho, and Vascular procedures.
• Broad surgical knowledge needed, with experience in multiple service lines including:

  • General surgery
  • Gynecology (GYN)
  • Robotics
  • Neurosurgery
  • Orthopedics
  • Plastic surgery
  • Urology
  • Burn and trauma surgery
• Procedures performed on the unit are variable.
• Scheduling requirements include a variable schedule with call required.
• Floating to other departments may be required.

Unit Information

• Number of beds: 815
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Documentation system: Cerner
• Scrubs provided by the facility

Requirements

• Certifications: BLS required
• Years of experience in specialty: Minimum 2 years
