Registered Nurse (RN) - Temp Assignment

Location: Claremont, New Hampshire
Specialty: Medical/Surgical (MS), Telemetry (Tele), Progressive Care Unit (PCU)


Job Details

  • Start Date: February 2026 (firm)
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Employment Type: Temporary
  • Patient Population: Newborn to Geriatric
  • RN to Patient Ratio:
    • General: 5:1 (depending on acuity)
    • Higher acuity PCU patients: 3:1 or 4:1
  • Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color
  • Shift: Day and night shifts available
  • Call/Call-Back: Not applicable
  • Overtime/Holiday Pay: 1.25x multiplier
  • Orientation: No non-billable orientation

Requirements

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3+ years in PCU, Med/Surg, and Telemetry
    • Experience with cardiac monitoring required
    • Rural/small facility experience preferred
    • Previous travel experience highly preferred
  • Certifications:
    • ACLS (AHA)
    • BLS (AHA)
    • Basic dysrhythmia test required in profile
  • Licensing:
    • New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN license required and must be in-hand at submission
    • NH Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required upfront
  • Other:
    • Must be comfortable working independently and able to "hit the ground running"
    • Must have own vehicle for assignment
    • Facility will not consider candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility
    • Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved at time of application; no RTO requests after submission will be approved
    • No scheduling accommodations (e.g., block scheduling) allowed
    • Candidates working another permanent or travel assignment concurrently will not be considered

  • Include any/all requested time off in profile
  • Provide cover page (optional), work history, and licenses/certifications

  • 24/7 staffed emergency department
  • Located in Sullivan County, NH
  • Emphasis on private patient rooms and updated facilities
  • Patient care focused on a broad age range from newborn to geriatric

This assignment is ideal for experienced RNs comfortable with multiple specialties (MS, Tele, PCU) in a rural, small hospital setting who can work independently and meet strict licensing and scheduling requirements.
