Registered Nurse (RN) - Temp Assignment

Location: Keene, New Hampshire
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Facility Overview

• 169-bed regional referral center
• Level III Trauma center
• Patient population: Adolescent to Geriatric
• RN to Patient Ratio: 2 to 1
• Unit size: 10 beds
• Located in a scenic area with outdoor recreational opportunities

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of current ICU experience
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
• Arterial Line experience required
• May float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Proficient with IV drips, ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and vasoactive medications
• Charge nurse and preceptor experience is a plus
• Must have own vehicle for transportation
• Must include permanent address in profile

Certifications & Licenses

• New Hampshire RN license required (Compact license accepted)
• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Scheduling & Compliance

• No block scheduling or schedule accommodations allowed
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and verified at time of application; no more than 5 days allowed
• RTO requests after submission will NOT be approved
• Holiday coverage required for one of the following:

  • Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and the following Friday/weekend
  • New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day and the following Friday/weekend
• Extensions ending before November or starting before December holidays will not be considered for extension into 2026
• All medical and occupational health compliance items must be completed and uploaded within 72 hours of offer acceptance
• Scheduling requests must be made at time of submission; no approvals after offer

Additional Notes

• Local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
• 48-hour guarantee is not available for this assignment
• Traveler cannot work concurrently with another permanent or travel assignment at this facility

This assignment is ideal for experienced ICU RNs comfortable with critical care technology and protocols, who can commit to a structured schedule with limited flexibility.
