Travel RN - Pulmonary Telemetry Unit

Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Unit Description

• 36-bed telemetry unit focused on diagnosing and treating patients with respiratory disorders
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6
• Collaborative work environment with respiratory therapy, physical therapy, care management, and pharmacy
• Requires knowledge in general medicine and specialized respiratory skills
• Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals

Schedule & Hours

• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• Holidays as required
• Every other weekend

Education & Licenses

• Associate Degree in Nursing required
• Registered Nurse license for the State of Alabama or Compact license (No temporary licenses accepted)
• NURSYS verification required

Certifications

• AHA BLS or Red Cross certification required

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years nursing experience preferred
• Will consider 18 months of experience working under the highest level of professional license
• At least 1 year of experience in pulmonary/telemetry specialty required
• Prior travel experience is NOT required
