Description

Travel RN - Rehab Specialty

Location: Louisville, Kentucky
Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
Weekly Hours: 36 hours
Weekend Hours: Every third weekend, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
Call Requirements: None

Position Details

Specialty: Rehab
Years of Experience Required: 2+ years
Required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS
Number of Openings: 1
Float Requirements: Must be willing to float to other units within the facility
Patient Population: Spinal cord injury and brain injury patients
Unit Type: Neuro/Rehab
Number of Beds: 28
Patient Ratios:
- Day Shift: 1:6
- Night Shift: 1:8

Skills & Experience

Must Have: Trach care and G-tube experience
Preferred: Med Surg experience
Personality Fit: Compassionate, good communicator, willing to educate patients and families, self-learner

Equipment & EMR

Tube feed, ventilator, trach care, Alaris IV pumps, Hoyer lifts, Kangaroo pumps, negative pressure wound therapy, suction, vents
EMR systems: Cerner and ITW

Additional Requirements

Must be flu vaccinated
Candidate must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be considered
Dress code: Galaxy Blue scrubs only; no hoodies, t-shirts, sweatshirts, or outside clothing allowed
