Registered Nurse (RN) - Temporary Assignment

Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Employment Type: Temporary
• Unit Size: 20 to 34 beds (depending on unit)
• Patient Ratio: Typically 1:6
• Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color
• Orientation: 8 hours non-billable
• Holiday and OT Multipliers: 1.25%

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years current Medical-Surgical (MS) experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Willingness to float to any MS unit (no block scheduling)
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• Certifications required at profile upload (facility will not pend):

  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • NIHSS
• Must have own vehicle for assignment
• Must include permanent address in profile (travelers residing within 50 miles of facility will not be considered)
• Requested time off (RTO) must be included at submission; no more than 5 days allowed, and all scheduling requests must be made at time of submission (no changes after offer)
• Must provide at least two specific interview dates/times (no "anytime")
• Work history and skills checklist (current within 1 year) required
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required
• Massachusetts RN license must be in hand at profile upload (facility will not pend license)

Scheduling & Holiday Coverage

• Travelers are required to work one of the following holiday coverage periods:

  • Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and the Friday/weekend after
  • New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day and the Friday/weekend after
• Extensions ending in November or before December holidays will not be considered for extension into 2026

Additional Notes

• Facility will not consider travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility
• No block scheduling allowed
• Must float to any MS unit as needed

Certifications Required

• BLS (AHA)
• NIHSS

State License

• Massachusetts RN license required and must be active at time of profile submission

This position is ideal for experienced Medical-Surgical RNs with telemetry skills who are flexible, certified, and able to commit to a 13-week temporary assignment in Massachusetts.
