Job Opportunity: Travel Nurse (Winter Support)

Contract Length: 8 weeks
Start Dates: Weekly, Mondays
Shift: 12-hour day shifts
Schedule: Every other weekend required

• Weekend days for day shifts: Saturday and Sunday
• Weekend days for night shifts: Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Key Requirements and Information

• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly (does not include on-call time)
• Experience:

  • Epic experience required
  • Level 1 trauma experience preferred; required if no prior travel experience
• Certifications:

  • BLS (AHA) required
  • ACLS (AHA) and NIHSS preferred
• Testing:

  • Day one pass/fail testing will be administered
  • Relias practice tests available prior to testing
• Floating:

  • Ratios between 1:3 to 1:5
  • Floating expected to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units
  • Floating occurs in 4-hour blocks during shifts; multiple floats per shift possible but rare
• Orientation: Weekly orientation provided
• Uniform: Any color scrubs allowed
• Time Off: No time off will be considered during the 8-week assignment
• Additional Notes:

  • Travelers do not need to separate from current employer for these openings unless permanent or per diem
  • Level 1 trauma experience is a strong preference or requirement depending on travel history
