Description

Travel RN - Cath Lab

Location: Austin, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (On call required evenings and weekends)

Unit: Cath Lab
Number of Beds: 8
Number of Staff: 10 (4 RNs, 3 Cardiovascular Techs)
Patient Ratios: Not specified
Equipment: Cardiovascular invasive equipment
EMR System: Meditech
Permanent Positions Available: No

Job Requirements

Experience: Minimum 1 year Cath Lab experience
Certifications: ACLS and BLS required (candidates without these will not be considered)
Preferred Skills: RCIS certification is a plus

Typical Procedures

Cardiac catheterizations
Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
Peripheral procedures
Pacemaker and defibrillator implants

Work Environment & Culture

Dress Code: Ceil blue scrubs required
Personality Fit: Team player
Call Requirements: On call from 3:00 PM to 6:30 AM and 48 hours on weekends
