Job Opportunity: Proton Radiation Therapist (Travel)

Job Details

Location: University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Oncology Clinic
Shift: 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM (may vary to 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM if no patients)
No call or weekend requirements
Patient Population: 0-99+
Level 1 trauma center

Requirements

Must have ARRT and Arkansas state license
Minimum 1 year experience required; 2+ years preferred
Must live at least 100 miles from the facility (no locals)
BLS-AHA certification required
COVID vaccination not required

Orientation & Work Environment

5-day orientation
Royal blue scrubs required
Epic EMR system used
Facility includes 6 clinical rooms, 1 CT scanner, and 3 therapy vaults

Equipment & Procedures

Equipment: Interrogator for Cardiac Devices, Endoscopes, Procedural Instruments for GYN procedures
Unit-specific procedures and protocols include:
- Cardiac Device Interrogations
- Endoscopy Procedures
- HDR Procedures
- Brachytherapy
