Job Details

• Contract Length: 6 weeks
• Schedule: Varies; no guaranteed weekends or days off unless specified in contract
• Holiday Requirements: Must be able to work all holidays; travelers must work 2 out of 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's Day)
• Shift Rotation: Occasional/as needed
• Floating: May float between Post Acute Unit, Long-Term Care, and Memory Care units
• Work Environment: Cat on unit (candidates must not be allergic)
• Transportation: No public transportation available; reliable personal or rental vehicle strongly recommended with all-season or snow tires from November to April

Experience & Certification Requirements

• Minimum 2 years clinical experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience in specialty required
• Prior travel experience required
• EPIC experience within the past 2 years is required and non-negotiable
• AHA BLS certification required
• IV certification preferred for LPNs

• Anesthesia Support: Not available 24/7
• Ventilator Management: Not applicable
• Unit Procedures: Phlebotomy, EKGs, transports, nebulizer to inhaler, starting IVs

Additional Notes

• Must have a current license on file at time of submission
• Background checks required: 7-year nationwide and county court searches, FACIS3, sex offender registry within 18 months of start date; FACIS3 and VCIC within 30 days of start
• No block schedules allowed
• All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
• Complete work history including bed count, EMR, and facility type required for submission
