Travel RN Opportunity – Medical Telemetry

Location: Portland, Maine
Specialty: Medical Telemetry RN

Position Details

Unit: Medical Telemetry (24 beds)
Shift:
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: 36 (weekend shifts assigned per unit need)
Call Requirements: None
Float Requirements: Will float per hospital’s float rotation guidelines

Experience & Skills

Required:
- 1 year of travel nursing experience
- Inpatient acute medical-surgical experience
- Telemetry experience
- BLS certification
Preferred:
- Experience with PCA, epidural, wound vac, IV pumps

Patient Ratios

Day Shift: Goal 1:4, max 1:5
Night Shift: Goal 1:5, max 1:6

Unit & Equipment

Patient population: Medical-surgical including medical telemetry patients
Equipment used: PLUM, Stryker
EMR system: EPIC

Education & Certifications

Required certifications: BLS
Education modules: Stroke, SI/Restraints, telemetry, blood glucose

Personality & Dress Code

Positive attitude, teamwork-oriented, flexible, and adaptable
No specific scrub color required
Attire must comply with hospital appearance policy
