Location: Portland, Oregon

Job Description
- Role in Electrophysiology (EP) Lab as a Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist (CV RTR)
- Must be a Radiologic Technologist with significant EP Lab experience
- Schedule: 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (07:30 AM - 06:00 PM)
- December start required
- Call required: weeknights (6 PM - 7:30 AM) and weekends (Friday 6 PM to Monday 7:30 AM)
- Typically 1 night per week and 1 full weekend per month
- No weekend shifts, only weekend call
Key Responsibilities
- Circulate and scrub EP ablations and device placements (ablations experience is mandatory)
- Pull supplies and set up scrub table for ablation and device implant procedures
- Drape patients and scrub in with MD for venous and arterial access
- Scrub transeptal ablations
- Assist with sheath removal and closure devices
- Operate fluoroscopy/x-ray during procedures
- Prepare patients on the table with RN and EP tech
- Scrub generator device changes
- May assist in TAVR and TMVR procedures in the Hybrid OR room
- Support Cath Lab procedures and unit development projects
- Supply and equipment management/stocking
Experience & Credentials Required
- Current ARRT credential and Oregon OBMI license
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA provider only)
- Minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience, including at least 1 year in EP
- Ability to scrub and circulate EP ablations (device-only experience is insufficient)
- PALS and pediatric experience preferred but not required
Certifications & Licenses
- ARRT credential
- Oregon OBMI license
- BLS (AHA provider only)
- ACLS (AHA provider only)
- PALS preferred (AHA provider only)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) preferred but not mandatory
Compliance & Background Requirements
- Valid government-issued photo ID required on first day
- Background check within 6 months prior to start, including:
- Education verification
- Work history verification (last 2 employers)
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
- National Sex Offender Search within 30 days prior to start
- Drug testing: Negative 10-panel with methamphetamines listed, within 3 months prior to start
- References: Two manager or supervisor references from the last 24 months required
- Employment application with at least 7 years of work history required
Health & Safety Requirements
- Physical exam (within 1 year) required to meet Aya standard
- Fit mask test (N95 or equivalent) within 1 year prior to start
- Immunizations/vaccinations or signed declinations required for:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
- Measles (Rubeola)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 12 months prior to start
- TB questionnaire required
- Seasonal flu vaccination or signed declination required annually
- COVID-19 vaccination strongly recommended; declination requires mask use and signed form
- Facility-specific respirator clearance and fit testing may be done onsite if needed
Additional Information
- Must be fully available for compliance needs up until start date
- Professional appearance policy must be reviewed and signed prior to start
- Facility-specific orientation and training modules required before badge issuance
- Medication override test and other facility-specific documents provided for orientation (RNs only)
