Cardiopulmonary Respiratory Therapist - Contract Opportunity

Location: Roosevelt, Utah

Contract Length: 8 weeks

Job Description

• Work under the supervision of the Respiratory Medical Director and Department Manager.
• Provide treatment, management, control, and diagnostic evaluation of patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities.
• Safely and accurately triage every patient entering the emergency care system, prioritizing care based on physical, psychosocial needs, and patient flow factors.
• Communicate with Emergency Department physicians regarding changes in patient status, symptoms, and diagnostic results.
• Deliver Respiratory Care services according to physician orders, department policies, and procedures.
• Responsibilities include patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, therapeutic interventions, and education for patients, caregivers, and the community.

Requirements

• Current Utah State Respiratory Therapist Licensure.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• BCLS and ACLS certification.
• Valid and active NBRC Credential in good standing.
• AARC/USRC Membership preferred.

Certifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) required.
