Ultrasound Technologist - Temp Position

Location: Mattoon, Illinois
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform quality ultrasound exams including abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular studies.
• Assist in interpretation of ultrasound exams.
• Procedures include paracentesis, thoracentesis, needle biopsy, and aspiration.
• Heavy OB workload focusing on growth, anatomy, and first trimester exams.
• Vascular exams include venous duplex (arms and legs), reflux exams, arterial duplex (arms and legs), ABI Doppler, renal artery, hemodialysis mapping, fistula checks, and carotid studies.

Requirements

• Minimum 1+ years of experience.
• Registered in RDMS and RVT (required).
• Proficient in abdomen, OB/GYN, small parts, procedures, and vascular ultrasound.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• Must provide:

  • Work history relevant to specialty (current within 1 year).
  • Skills checklist pertinent to specialty.
  • Two supervisory references with dates employed.
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates are not eligible).
• Applicants who were direct employees within the last 2 years are not eligible.

• Uses Cerner EMR system.
• Nonbillable hours: 16 hours.
