Job Opportunity: MRI Technologist (Weekend Shift)

Location: Dalton, Georgia

Work Schedule

• Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Monday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Call: Designated Sunday PM call with possible additional call
• Holidays: Varies

Experience & Certification Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers are welcome
• Required Certifications:

  • ARRT (R) – Registered Radiologic Technologist (MRI)
  • BLS – Basic Life Support

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Proof of I9 or Attestation
• Government-issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
• Proof of E-Verify or Attestation
• Residency Declaration Form (if working on a compact license)
• Background Checks:

  • 7-year criminal background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
• Education Verification (upon client request)
• State License Verification (Primary Source Verification)
• NURSYS Verification (for RNs, if applicable)

Certifications (As Applicable)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (HIPAA compliance)

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical Exam: Physician statement within the last 12 months (not required annually)
• Fit Mask Test (done onsite during orientation, renewed annually)
• Negative TB or Chest X-Ray within 1 year of start, updated annually
• Immunizations or Titers for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (Titer, Vaccine series, or declination)
  • Varicella (Chickenpox)
• Drug Testing: Negative 9 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days of start
• Seasonal Flu Vaccination or Exemption (required during flu season)
• COVID-19 Vaccination or approved Medical/Religious Exemption

  • 2 professional references within 2 years for travel positions
• Performance and Internal Evaluations (if previously employed with the agency)
