Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Start Dates:

• 12/26
• 01/09
• 01/23
• Other contract lengths considered: 16, 20, or 26 weeks

Contract Length:

• 13 weeks (with options for longer contracts)

Work Schedule:

• 10-hour days
• Rotating start times: 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, or 8:00 AM
• 40 hours per week
• Rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and on-call duties

Job Description:

• New Interventional Radiology / Special Procedure Technologist role
• Requires considerable knowledge of physiology and anatomy
• Proficient with diagnostic equipment, procedures, and techniques
• Knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and patient safety policies

Qualifications:

• Radiography Registry: R.T. (R) by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Minimum 2 years experience performing interventional and special radiographic procedures
• Hybrid interventional radiology experience preferred
• Cardiac Interventional or Vascular Interventional registry by ARRT or registry eligible (must obtain registry within 6 months of employment)
• Must possess and maintain a Connecticut State license to practice radiography
• Must maintain active Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification during employment
