Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel/Contract Position

Location: Dubois, Pennsylvania
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with rotating weekends as needed
• Licensure: Pennsylvania license or compact license required and must be in hand
• Certifications Required: ACLS and BLS
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted
• Local candidates within 50-mile radius: Not accepted

Required Certifications & Competencies

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support): AHA, ARC, Military acceptable
• BLS (Basic Life Support): AHA, ARC, Military acceptable
• Other certifications may be required depending on unit (e.g., PALS, NIH Stroke Certification for RNs)
• Competency exams as applicable by profession (Medication Test/Pharmacology, general Competency Exam)

Background & Verification Requirements

• 7-year criminal background check including SS trace, county searches, nationwide, sex offender, and PA statewide searches
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check required
• HHS/OIG check required
• Education verification (transcripts, diplomas, or 3rd party verifications)
• PA FBI fingerprinting required within 12 months of start (must be completed in PA)
• Professional references: 2 required within last 3 years
• Skills checklist: Required annually

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test (PPD, Q Gold, or TSpot) within 6 months or chest X-ray within 5 years
• Vaccinations or documented immunity/declination for:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (series, titer, or declination)
  • Varicella (Chickenpox)
• Seasonal vaccinations or declinations for:

  • Flu (required during flu season Nov-April; mask required if declined through 3/31)
  • COVID-19
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Alcohol breathalyzer test within 30 days of start (not required for this location)

Facility-Specific Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID required
• Photo for badge (passport style, no filters)
• Completion of orientation packet and acknowledgements prior to start
• Completion of medical surveillance checklist prior to start
• Completion of vaccine declination forms if applicable
• Completion of bloodborne pathogen quiz prior to start

Additional Notes

• Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) or Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification required for certain units (Emergency Department, Behavioral Health, Acute Care) with annual renewal
• Comprehensive Crisis Management certification accepted as MAB/CPI equivalent for applicable units
• No onsite classes available for MAB/CPI; online training accepted
• No local candidates within 50 miles accepted for this position
