Travel RN - Stepdown PCU (Plano, TX)

Position Details

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown PCU
• Location: Plano, Texas
• Employment Type: Travel
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM, Weekend every other weekend
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Call Requirements: Yes

Unit Information

• Unit: PCU Telemetry, 7th Floor
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Floating Policy: As needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years hospital experience
• Minimum 2 years specialty experience in PCU/Stepdown
• Active RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Meditech documentation system
• PCU/Stepdown experience
• Specialty/unit certifications relevant to PCU

Dress Code & Appearance

• Scrub Color: Royal Blue
• Nails: Clean and healthy; no artificial nails, gel, or similar enhancements
• Hair: Neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors; hair shoulder length or longer must be pulled back in the lab
• Facial Hair: Beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed
• Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible; exceptions addressed individually
• Piercings: Only ear piercings allowed; no visible nose, tongue, or other piercings
