Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) - Travel Position

Location: Louisville, Kentucky
Specialty: X-Ray (Radiology)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Position Details

  • Experience Required: Minimum 2+ years
  • Shift: Monday - Thursday, 9:00 PM - 7:30 AM
  • Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
  • Weekend Requirements: 1 weekend shift per month (depending on assigned shift)
  • Call Requirements: 1 weekend shift per month
  • Float Requirements: None
  • Certifications Required:
    • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
    • Kentucky Radiation Operator’s License
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)

Unit Information

  • Hospital Size: 462 beds
  • Patient Ratios: 1:1
  • Equipment Used: Shimadzu & GE portable X-ray machines
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Cerner & McKesson
  • Type of Patients: Emergency Room patients, Inpatients, Stroke protocol patients

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proficiency with Surgery C-arm and Portable X-ray equipment
  • Preferred: Experience with O-arm and Fluoroscopy

Work Environment & Culture

  • Personality Fit: Laid back and motivated
  • Dress Code: Ceil blue scrub tops with black or ceil blue bottoms
