Diagnostic Imaging Travel Position
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Work Schedule: Sunday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (start times may vary between 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, or 8:00 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly (does not include on-call time)
Start Date: ASAP
Orientation: Weekly on Mondays (except holidays)
Job Requirements and Responsibilities
- Perform OR, ER, and bedside imaging (experience required)
- Assist pain doctors with fluoroscopic imaging of the spine and other joints
- Set up and break down kits and medications used for pain injections
- Must have good knowledge of C-arms and specific pain injections commonly performed in pain treatment centers
Qualifications
- Vocational or Technical training in Medical Radiography
- Licensed MA RadTech-Radiography
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of related work experience
- Advanced technical computer skills relevant to the functional area and related systems
Additional Information
- No local travelers accepted (must reside more than 50 miles from the facility)
- Candidates who have worked for this hospital system in any capacity within the last 6 months are not eligible
- All requests for time off must be presented at the time of submission
- Parking may cost up to $43/day in some cases
This position requires a strong background in diagnostic imaging with specific experience in fluoroscopy and pain management procedures.
