Description

Job Opportunity: PACU Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse

Job Description

Provide care to Post Anesthesia Care patients in collaboration with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Surgical staff, and other healthcare personnel.
Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act, AORN guidelines, and hospital policies.
Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care.
Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Floating may be required as needed.

Work Schedule

Shift: Four 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
On-Call: 10-12 days of call within a 6-week schedule period

Requirements

Arizona RN License
BLS Certification
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
EMR system used: Cerner
Scrub color: Any color allowed

Contract Length

13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
