Travel RN Opportunity – Operating Room (OR)

Location: Johnstown, Pennsylvania
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (Surgical Services)
• Department: OR (Cost Center 16910)
• Shift: Days, varied shifts including 9-5, 11-7, 1-9, 3-11, and weekend daylight shifts
• Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend: Every other weekend / as needed
• Call: Required 1-2 times per week, 8-hour call increments
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Number of Beds: 22
• EHR System: EPIC
• Patient Population: All ages
• Trauma Level: Level 1

Requirements

• Experience: 1-2 years preferred
• Certifications:

  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • CPI/HWC (Crisis Prevention Intervention / Healthcare Worker Certification)
• Licensure: Valid Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania
• Clearances:

  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance
  • Department of Human Services Fingerprinting
  • FBI Fingerprinting (within last 2 years or new)
  • PA State Police Clearance (PATCH)
• Additional: Must complete all screenings prior to start

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Charge nurse experience for RNs
• Level 1 trauma experience
• Robotic surgery experience

Work Environment & Dress Code

• Scrub color: Blue (provided)
• No casual attire permitted
• Float as needed

Additional Notes

• Candidates must be willing to accept on-call shifts and off shifts as scheduled
• Call shifts are 8 hours in length
• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
