Description

Cath Lab Technician - Kansas City, Missouri

Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Requirements

  • ARRT-R certification and state license as required
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) OR Registered Electrophysiology Specialist required
  • Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab preferred
  • Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred
  • BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and must be maintained
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 30 days of hire
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR) experience preferred
  • Certification required

Required Credentials for Onboarding

  • BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
  • ACLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
  • Professional license/certification primary source verification (updated and verified within 30 days of start)
  • Education verification
  • Driver’s license, State ID, or Passport
  • OIG exclusion check
  • Drug screening (minimum 10-panel test including THC, within 60 days of start)
  • Color-blind test (annual)
  • Agency attestation form
  • SAM/EPLS exclusion search
  • Resume and two professional references (required for submission)
  • MMR vaccination or positive titer
  • Annual respirator fit test (must be completed prior to start if not done onsite)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity proof
  • Influenza vaccine or declination (required during flu season)
  • TB test within one year of start date
  • Varicella vaccination or immunity proof
  • Tdap vaccination (declinations not accepted in some locations)
  • Physical/health statement (clear to work, completed annually or within 60 days of start)
  • Core competencies exam
  • Criminal background check (national, within one year)
  • Employment eligibility verification (Form I-9 or agency attestation)
  • Specialty exam (must score 80% or higher)
  • Signed job description
  • Workplace violence prevention training (DCI/BVP)
  • Elder abuse registry check (EDL) as required by Missouri state law
