Registered Nurse (Labor & Delivery) - Travel/Contract

Job Details

• Preferred Experience: Antepartum, Intrapartum, & Postpartum couplet care
• Additional Duties: Will float to Medical/Surgical floors in rotation with full-time staff
• New Travelers: Accepted with minimum 1 year experience

Required Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• AWHONN Intermediate
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License/State ID)
• I9 verification
• E-Verify
• Background Check (7-year search including SS Trace, County searches, Nationwide Sex Offender, Education Verification)
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks (annual)
• Education Verification
• State License Primary Source Verification
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (annual)
• Medication/Pharmacology Competency Exam (score 80% or above)
• Competency Exam (score 80% or above)
• Skills Checklist (annual)
• References: 2 professional references within last 3 years

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical Exam within 1 year of start (not required by facility but required for placement)
• Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray (within 1 year, with specific follow-up if positive)
• Vaccinations or documented immunity/declination for:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella (Chickenpox)
  • Seasonal Flu (vaccination or declination required during flu season)
  • COVID-19 (vaccination or declination required)
• Drug Testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 1 year of start
