Description

Travel Med Surg RN Opportunity

Location: Kirksville, Missouri
Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Days (6 AM - 6 PM)
Scope of Role:
- Comfortable working with both Med-Surg and Step-Down (PCU) levels of care
- Most shifts will include a mix of Med-Surg and Step-Down patients
Patient Ratios: 1:4-6 depending on patient acuity
Unit Size: 21 beds
Floating: Occasional floating to critical care with low acuity patients may be required
Required Holidays: 1 major holiday (season dependent)

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
Preferred: 1 year experience in PCU/Stepdown and Med-Surg
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required

Additional Information

48-hour weekly guarantees may be requested
Blocked scheduling requests may be requested
Scrub color: Any dark solid color
EMR system: MedHost
