Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel/Contract Position

Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan

Position Details

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Employment Type: Travel/Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule:

  • 1 twelve-hour shift and 3 eight-hour shifts per week (total 36 hours over 4 days)
  • Flex scheduling available; weekday shifts can be adjusted up to one month in advance
  • Weekends: Every other rotation
  • No call or float required

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty
• First Timers: Not accepted
• Patient Ratios: 1:2
• Work Settings Required: Adult Acute Care, Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, ER/Trauma
• EPIC experience: Required

Certifications Required

• ARMRIT or ARRT MR
• BLS (AHA only; certificates of completion not accepted)
• ACLS (AHA only; certificates of completion not accepted)
• PALS (AHA only; required for specific pediatric units)
• NRP (as applicable)
• Additional certifications as applicable to specialty and unit

Health & Compliance Requirements

• Flu shot required annually with no exemptions allowed
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (instant drug screens not accepted)
• Fit mask test within 1 year (specific approved masks required)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year; if past positive TB, must complete annual TB questionnaire
• Immunizations or positive titers required for: Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Background checks including 7-year history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG required and updated annually

Documentation & Verification

• Two recent professional references required (must be from managers or supervisors; charge RN references not accepted)
• State license verification and NURSYS verification required
• Pass/fail competency testing (EKG/medication) required for ICU, PACU, Tele units
• Facility-specific documents and attestations must be reviewed and signed prior to start
• Employment application required

Additional Notes

• Badge and pager return policies apply at assignment end to avoid fees
• Orientation includes essential paperwork that must be completed and submitted within 3 weeks of start to avoid removal from assignment
• Candidates must maintain valid certifications throughout assignment without lapse
