Description

Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech (Travel)

Location: Ft. Walton Beach, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

Role: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech (Travel assignment)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Stemi Call: Approximately 10 to 12 days per month (self-scheduling)
Floating Policy: Within departments including EP and Stress Lab
Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
Unit Beds: 7 holding beds
Equipment Used: GE Innova, Impella
Documentation Systems: MacLab, Meditech
Dress Code: Surgical scrubs provided by hospital

Required Certifications & Skills

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
Cath Lab Tech Certification
Experience with:
- Structural Heart procedures
- IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump)
- Impella device
- IFR (Instantaneous Wave-Free Ratio)
- FFR (Fractional Flow Reserve)
Advanced Skills Needed:
- PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention)
- PFO (Patent Foramen Ovale) closure
- Impella and IABP management

Procedures Performed on Unit

TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement)
PFO closure
Atherectomy
PCI
Right/Left Heart Catheterization (R/LHC)
Impella/IABP support
Implants
DCCV (Direct Current Cardioversion)
TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiogram)

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
