Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology (Travel/Contract)
Location: Salina, Kansas
Contract Length: 2 months
Job Description

Required Credentials & Documentation
Identification & Verification
- Proof of I9 or Attestation
- Government issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
- Proof of E-Verify or Attestation
- Residency Declaration Form (if working on a compact license)
Background Checks
- 7-year criminal background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
- Must cover all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
- SS Trace, Counties, Nationwide, Sex Offender, FACIS Level III (must be run within 30 days of start)
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start and updated for every contract renewal/extension
- HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start and updated for every contract renewal/extension
- Education Verification or Transcript/Diploma (proof of highest degree earned)
- FACIS Level III screening required within 30 days of start
Certifications
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - Required for RNs in specific units; must be AHA or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required for all travelers; must be AHA or equivalent
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - Required for RNs in ER, Pediatrics, PICU; must be AHA or equivalent
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - Required for RNs in Labor & Delivery, NICU, Nursery, Mother-Baby; must be AHA or equivalent
- CHEMO (Chemotherapy) - Required for RNs working in Oncology
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - As required (not required for this facility)
- EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) - Required for RNs working in Labor & Delivery
- State License Verification - Primary source verification required; MRI Techs do not require state license at this facility
- NURSYS Verification - Required for all RNs
- NIH Stroke Certification - Required annually for all RNs except Birth Center, Labor and Delivery, NICU; can pend at start if not on file
Competencies
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable
- Competency Exam as applicable to profession/specialty
- Core Parts I, II, III (for subcontractors only)
Facility-Specific Requirements
- Completion of Healthstream Modules (approx. 8 hours) prior to start
- Photo for badge required
- Physical Exam: Physician's statement within 30 days of start confirming ability to perform essential job functions
- N95 Fit Mask Test: Completed within 12 months or onsite during orientation
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap: Current vaccine within last 10 years required for Birth Center/NICU staff; recommended for others
- Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 12 months; if past positive, additional documentation required
- Immunizations or positive titers required for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (or declination form)
- Varicella
- Drug Testing:
- 9 Panel Drug Screen within 1 year (instant acceptable)
- 10 Panel Drug Screen including Marijuana within 30 days of start (instant not acceptable, must be SAMHSA certified)
- Flu Vaccination or Declination required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31); if declined, mask must be worn at all times
- COVID-19 Vaccine or Declination accepted; medical/religious exemptions not required but declination form must be completed if not vaccinated
Employment History & References
- 2 professional references required for Travel, Allied, Per Diem Acute Care positions (within 2 years)
- 1 professional reference required for Per Diem Non-Acute Care positions
- Performance evaluations required if worked over 1 year with the organization (collected internally)
- Employment application/resume required
- Skills checklist required for applicable units, updated annually
- Work history verification required only for non-clinical positions
