Position Details

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 19
Staffing Ratio: Approximately 6:1 (patient to staff ratio)
Typical Staff on Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters
Night Shift: Staffing varies
Equipment Used: Mechanical lift, Sara steady, Baxter pumps, Kangaroo pumps
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech

Required Skills and Experience

Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years in specialty (RN)
Required Skills:
- Rehab / Med Surg experience
- IV experience
Preferred Skills:
- Wound care
- Stroke care
- Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) care

Certifications and Licenses

Required Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support)
Required License: Registered Nurse License

Work Environment

Floating Areas: CCU, Med Surg, ER
Dress Code: Plain color scrubs
Schedule: Every other weekend required; on-call details not specified
