Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location: San Antonio, Texas
Employment Type: Travel Contract (13 weeks)

Position Overview

Seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech with a minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience. This is a travel assignment requiring flexibility and the ability to work call nights and weekends.

Required Qualifications

• Certifications:

  • ARRT Certification (Tech)
  • Texas Medical Board License
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • Cath Lab Tech Certification
• Minimum 2+ years of Cath Lab experience (highest required years of experience)
• Ability to operate Bi-Plane Imaging Suites
• Must be able to pull call nights and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Meditech documentation system

Work Details

• Shift: 36 to 40 hours per week
• Call Requirements: Must be able to pull call nights and weekends
• Floating: All travelers are required to float as needed per facility policy
• Dress Code:

  • Scrubs provided (brown for Cath Lab Tech)
  • Clean and healthy nails
  • Hair must be covered with OR cap (color irrelevant)
  • Tattoos should be covered whenever possible; exceptions handled individually
  • Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited

Unit Information

• Unit: Cath Lab
• Procedures performed:

  • Heart Catheterizations
  • Electrophysiology (EP) studies
  • Interventional Radiology studies

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this role.
