Job Opportunity: Nursing (Contract)
Location: Fort Defiance, Arizona
Facility: Tsehootsooi Medical Center
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in the nursing specialty being applied for
- Circular experience in the specialty required (sometimes more experience may be needed)
Certifications Required
- American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Shift Information
- Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- On-call approximately one overnight per week
- On-call approximately one weekend every 5 weeks
Additional Information
- Travelers may be expected to float to other departments where qualified
- Floating duties may include taking a patient load if experienced and competent, or task-oriented duties such as answering call lights and phones
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Orientation
- Orientation is held on Mondays only
- Compliance deadlines must be met or orientation will be rescheduled to the following Monday
