Location: Sylva, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Specialty: Postpartum RN
• Unit: Mother Baby Unit (3rd Floor)
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: 7:00 AM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Varies
• Call Requirements: None
• Patient Population: Adult and neonate
• Patient Ratios: 1 RN to 3-4 couplets
• EHR System: Paragon

Requirements

• Licensure: Registered Nurse License (RN)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty (Postpartum)
• Skills:

  • Must have experience attending deliveries
  • Preferred skills include newborn and postpartum adult assessment
• Personality Fit: Organized, hard worker, helpful, kind

• Float Requirements: None
• Dress Code: Any scrub color acceptable
• Screening: Complete and clear screenings required prior to start
• Orientation: Offered twice monthly
• Travel Requirement: Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel
