Job Opportunity: General Medicine Medical Surgical RN (12-Hour Night Shift)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Key Requirements:

• Prior travel nursing experience is required for all positions.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience.
• Must provide complete work history and explain any gaps over 90 days.
• Skills checklist and valid nursing license (Nursys verification) required.
• Cerner electronic health record experience preferred.
• Medical Surgical experience required.
• Charge nurse responsibility may be required; appropriate training and pay differential provided.
• Travelers must be willing to float, including to a sister campus.
• Orientations occur every other week on Mondays.
• Local nurses within 60 miles are not accepted.
• Limited return to origin (RTO) options; all RTO documentation must be submitted with application.
• Assignments are one-time only with no renewals.
• Assignments end on Saturdays.
• Client may cancel assignment up to 36 hours prior due to census changes.
• Approved declinations accepted for COVID/Flu vaccination requirements.

Work Environment:

• Teaching hospital setting with frequent interaction with students and new hires.
• Emphasis on fostering a supportive team culture, especially when working with learners and new staff.
