Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech - Travel Position

Location: Aurora, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel

Unit: Interventional Radiology (IR)
Hospital Beds: 272
IR Suites: 2
Staffing:
- IR Techs: 4 (Day Shift)
- RNs: 6 total (4-5 on Day Shift, Night Shift on call)
Patient Ratios: Estimated 1:1 to 3:1 (not guaranteed)
Equipment: GE
EMR System: Meditech

Schedule

Shift: Day Shift, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Night Shift: On call

Required Certifications & Licenses

ACLS
ARRT Certification
BLS
Registered Nurse License

Experience Requirements

Years of Experience in Specialty: 2 years (Rad Tech)
Prior Travel Experience: Not specified / not required

Skills & Preferences

Must Have:
- VI certification or CVIR
Preferred:
- Neuro experience
- Experience in a Thrombectomy center

Typical Procedures

Basic IR procedures such as drains to neuro
Complex cases including sirspheres, tumor ablation, spine jack

Personality & Team Fit

Go-getter and team player

Great communication skills
Ability to manage stressful situations
