Description

Nursing Contract Opportunity - Arizona (Tuba City)

Position Summary

Role: Clinical Nurse providing care for Perioperative Patients.
Responsibilities include assessment, nursing diagnoses, planning and evaluating interventions based on patient outcomes.
Expected to circulate in all specialty areas including Orthopedics, ENT, GYN/OB, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, and Dental.
Scrubbing experience is highly encouraged.
May require working varied or odd hours when on call and preparing for emergency cases on short notice.

Tuba City, Arizona
Serves a culturally rich and diverse community including Navajo, Hopi, Southern Paiute, Anglo, Hispanic, and African American populations.
Facility provides comprehensive inpatient/outpatient emergency services and various surgical specialties.

License & Certifications Required

Valid, current, full, and unrestricted Professional Nursing License from any U.S. state, territory, or Commonwealth.
Must maintain current certifications throughout employment:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association (within 6 months of hire)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) - within 6 months of hire
- Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) - within 1 year of hire
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) - within 2 years of hire

Education & Experience

Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
Experience: Minimum 2 years clinical nurse and/or operating room practical experience.

Contract Details

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Orientation: Every 2 weeks
COVID & Flu exemptions may be accepted after submission of declination form.
Limited shared housing available at $600/month (no family or pets allowed).

Additional Notes

RN license from any state is acceptable; Arizona state license not required.
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
