Registered Nurse (ENDO RN) - Travel/Contract Position

Location: Attleboro, Massachusetts
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5x8 shifts, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Patient Population: Adults (ages 20-85)
• Unit Census: Average daily census of 40 patients
• Rooms: 3
• Beds: 11
• Special Procedures:

  • ERCP
  • Bronchoscopy
  • Endoscopic Ultrasound
  • Colonoscopy
  • Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD)

Experience Requirements

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (Endoscopy)
• Years of Experience Required: 2-3 years preferred; 1 year minimum experience required
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required (1st time travelers are welcome)

Certifications Required

• ACLS (AHA only)
• BLS (AHA only)

Systems Used

• Medication System: Omnicell
• Documentation System: Cerner (Epic experience also considered)

Compliance & Background Requirements

• Massachusetts Statewide CORI (iCORI) Release required
• Standard background check within 1 year, including:

  • 7-year SS trace and county searches
  • Nationwide and sex offender checks
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required
• Massachusetts Nurse Aide Registry Search required for all travelers in MA

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year prior to start
• N95 fit test within last 6 months (specific approved masks)
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine (with medical declination allowed)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray (2-step PPD or equivalent)
• Annual TB questionnaire for past positives or pending TB tests
• Immunity or vaccination documentation for:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (numerical titer required; declinations accepted)
  • Varicella (declinations NOT accepted)
• Drug screen within 30 days prior to start (minimum 9-panel)
• Seasonal Flu vaccine required (medical exemption allowed with documentation)
• COVID-19 vaccine required (medical or religious exemption only with signed documentation)

Additional Requirements

• Badge photo (passport style, head and shoulders, plain background) required 2 weeks prior to start
• Compliance checklist, latex allergy questionnaire, and personal information forms must be completed prior to start
• Facility-specific COVID exemption forms required if applicable
• References: 2 professional references within 3 years for travel/per diem acute care

Notes

• First-time travelers are welcome with 2-3 years of experience and experience with either Epic or Cerner systems.
• The facility does not accept declinations for MMR or Varicella vaccines.
• Flu vaccine declinations are only accepted for medical reasons and must be approved onsite.
• Drug screen does not require annual updates if assignment is extended.
• TB testing annual requirement applies only to ICU and ER units; this position is not ICU/ER.

This position offers a structured weekday schedule with exposure to advanced endoscopic procedures in an adult patient population.
