Travel RN Opportunity - Rehabilitation Specialty

Location: Chesterfield, Missouri
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Specialty: Rehab (Med/Surg)
• Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Float Requirements: Must float within 5 units: Stroke, Comprehensive, Medically Complex, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury
• Patient Population: Adults (18+ years)
• Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:6-7 (day), 1:8 (night) with a dedicated tech per nurse
• Number of Beds: 81 private rooms
• EHR System: Epic

Required Qualifications

• Licensure: RN licensed in Missouri
• Certifications: BLS (CPR) Certification
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty (Rehab/Med-Surg)
• Preferred: CRRN certification
• Personality Fit: Flexible, collaborative, positive demeanor

Facility & Unit Highlights

• Inpatient rehabilitation services for patients recovering from strokes, brain/spinal cord injuries, amputations, multiple trauma, cancer, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions
• Specialized units including brain injury unit with monitored rooms and dedicated therapy spaces, stroke care unit with specialized equipment
• Amenities include private family-friendly rooms with sleeper chairs, pet therapy, recreational programs, outdoor healing garden, and walking trail

• Flu and COVID vaccine declinations are not accepted
• Scrub color: black scrubs with agency-provided ID badge
• Report time: 6:30 AM
• Must be prepared to work through holidays with no time off around Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year
