Travel RN Opportunity - Nashville, Tennessee
Position Details
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)

- Unit: 10 Tower (Acute Care and Neuro Stepdown)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 30 total (22 Acute Care, 8 Stepdown)
- Patient Ratios:
- Acute Care: 6:1
- Neuro Stepdown: 4:1
- Staffing:
- 1 RN Charge Nurse oversees entire 10 Tower
- 1-2 Techs and a Unit Secretary available
- Equipment:
- Acute Care: Vital sign machines, high flow oxygen, chest tubes, suction, various drips, stroke care equipment
- Neuro Stepdown: Vapotherm, Bipap, Trachs, titrating cardiac drips
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Scheduling: Weekend shifts required
- Floating Policy: Experienced nurses may float after orientation
- Patient Experience: Bedside shift report, personal connection, daily huddle
Required Skills & Experience
- Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in nursing specialty
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required for Acute Care
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required for Neuro Stepdown
- NIH Certification required
- Licenses: Registered Nurse License
- Skill Set:
- Strong acute care nursing skills and time management
- Stepdown experience preferred for Neuro Stepdown
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Common Procedures: Lumbar puncture, chest tube placement

- Black, any shade of blue or grey scrubs
- Any color scrubs allowed on Fridays
