Position Details

Unit Information

• Unit: 6 West (Med-surg/Oncology)
• Number of Beds: 33
• Number of Staff: 27 members
• Shift Staffing:

  • Day Shift: 5 RNs, 1 clinical coordinator/charge nurse (no patient group), 2-3 techs, 1 unit secretary
  • Night Shift: 5 RNs (including charge nurse with patient group), 2-3 techs
• Patient Ratios: 5-6 patients per nurse
• Equipment: Baxter IV pumps
• EMR System: Meditech (EBCD version)

Required Qualifications

• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in medical-surgical nursing or acute care setting
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Licenses: Registered Nurse License

Preferred Experience

• Oncology experience
• Chemotherapy experience
