Position Details

• Specialty: Ultrasound / Vascular
• Role: Ultrasound Tech
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Call Requirements: Department on-call rotation, 1 day per week from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Float Requirements: None
• Certifications Required: ARDMS, RVT
• Minimum Years of Experience: 3 years in a hospital setting (must be able to work independently)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Unit Information

• Patient Types: Pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Types of Exams: General and vascular ultrasound exams including outpatient, inpatient, emergency, surgical, interventional, and portable exams
• Equipment: Philips ultrasound machines
• EMR System: Epic
• Patient Ratios: 8 to 12 patients

Candidate Profile

• Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years hospital experience in ultrasound/vascular specialty
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience performing a wide range of ultrasound exams across patient age groups and settings

• Personality Fit:

  • Great communicator
  • Works well with team members and other departments

Additional Information

• Dress Code: Pewter gray scrubs; hoodies are not acceptable
• Pre-Start Requirements: Completion of education modules prior to first day
• Call Schedule: One day per week on call from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM
