Position Details

• Shift: Monday-Friday, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM), 40 hours/week
• Cases Required:

  • Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult)
  • Permanent Pacemaker Insertions (PPI)
  • Pulmonary Artery (PA) Insertion
  • Right Heart Catheterization
  • Temporary Pacemakers
  • Conduction Studies
  • Insertion/Programming of AICDs
  • Pacemaker Insertion
• On-call: No
• Weekend Work: No
• Floating: Possible floating to like units

Experience & Certification Requirements

• Years of Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in specialty
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
• First-timers: Accepted if they have previous experience
• Licensure: SCQRSA (South Carolina Qualified Radiologic Supervisor Authorization)
• Certifications Required:

  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• Radiation Badge: Required and must be provided by the agency (facility does NOT provide)

Health & Safety

• Initial physical exam, updated annually
• Fit test for N95 mask within 90 days prior to start, renewed annually (specific mask models required)
• Immunizations and titers:

  • Tdap within 10 years or declination form
  • Negative TB test (T-spot or Q-Gold) within 90 days or chest X-ray if positive history
  • Annual TB questionnaire
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: positive titer or 2 vaccines (boosters if low titer)
  • Hepatitis B: titer, vaccine series, or declination
  • Varicella: positive titer or 2 vaccines (boosters if low titer)
• Drug screening: 10-panel drug test within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
• Seasonal flu vaccination or medical/religious exemption required during flu season
• COVID-19 vaccination highly preferred; declination form required if not vaccinated

Orientation & Facility Specifics

• Completion of orientation modules prior to start (approx. 2 hours)
• First Day Instructions and OurDay platform modules must be completed before orientation; failure to complete results in being sent home
• Passport-style photo required for badge
• Upload COVID and flu vaccine documentation into facility system
