Travel RN Opportunity - PACU

Location: Massachusetts (specific city not provided)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Requirements

• License: Current Massachusetts RN license required at time of submission
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years recent PACU experience required (higher experience requirement applied)
• Certifications:

  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Skills:

  • Experience working with patients on drips and ventilators
• Additional Requirements:

  • Must pass ECG/Telemetry and Medications tests with 85% or higher on first attempt (no retakes)
  • Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
  • Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility (no local travelers accepted)
  • Travelers who have worked for this health system in any capacity within the last 6 months are not eligible
  • 30-minute response time required when on call
  • One 24-hour weekend call shift per month and three night call shifts (11pm-7am) per month required
  • Weekends and holidays required
  • Time off requests over 4 days will not be approved

Work Schedule

• Shift: 9am - 7pm
• Call: One 24-hour weekend shift per month, plus three night calls per month (11pm-7am)
• Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly (does not include on-call time)

Orientation & Onboarding

• Biweekly orientation
• Testing (Dysrhythmia and Medication) administered via Zoom prior to assignment
• Candidates must be prepared for testing using provided study guides

Notes

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
• No local travelers accepted (must live more than 50 miles away)
• Time off requests must be submitted at time of application

This position is ideal for experienced PACU RNs licensed in Massachusetts who are comfortable with call responsibilities and working weekends/holidays.
