Job Details

• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Unit Information:

  • 2 Interventional Radiology (IR) suites
  • Staff includes 4 IR nurses and 4 IR techs
  • Day shift coverage; night shift is on-call
  • Average patient ratio: 10 patients per room
  • Equipment used: Philips biplane, Toshiba single plane

Required Skills and Experience

• Specialty: Special Procedures Tech
• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in IR or Cath Lab experience (highest required)
• Preferred Skills: IR Neuro experience is a plus
• Certifications Required:

  • ARRT Certification
  • New Hampshire state license
  • BLS Certification

Typical Procedures

• PICC lines
• Paracentesis
• Thoracentesis
• Kyphoplasty
• Port placement
• Ablations
• ESI (Epidural Steroid Injection)
• EKOS for Pulmonary Embolism
• Trevo for Stroke

• Dress Code: Scrubs provided by hospital
• On-Call Requirements:

  • On call every 3rd to 4th weekend
  • One weeknight on call
