Job Opportunity: Noninvasive Cardiology RN

Location: Morgantown, West Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (5-8 hour shifts)
Schedule: No weekends, no holidays

Job Description

Position in noninvasive cardiology area
Responsibilities include all types of stress testing, IV skills, pre- and post-procedure care, and moderate sedation for TEE (transesophageal echocardiogram) procedures
Work with both inpatient and outpatient populations
Ancillary noninvasive cardiology testing only; no management of drips, vents, or BiPAP
No assistance from aides; charge nurse supports patient throughput in pre-post area
No cross-coverage to other units

Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) with training in:
- Stress testing
- IV skills
- Pre- and post-procedure care
- Moderate sedation for TEE procedures
At least 2 years of experience in these areas
Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required

Additional Information

Heart and Vascular Department setting
Dobutamine titration for dobutamine stress testing performed
Focused, specialized role with no weekend or holiday shifts
