Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU/LTAC

Location: Fayetteville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Weekend Requirement: Yes, every other weekend
  • On-call Requirement: No
  • Floating: Yes, may need to float within scope to meet facility needs or between like units
  • Block Scheduling: Open to accommodating
  • Locals: Not accepted (50-mile radius rule)

  • Return Staff Policy: Must be gone for 1 year to return as a traveler

  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required for L&D, FCCU, NICU units
  • NIH Stroke Certification – Must be updated annually
  • Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing – Required for all ICU and related units
  • Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication) – Must pass with 80% or higher within 3 attempts; remediation required if failed

Competencies

  • Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam – Required and must be renewed annually
    • Advanced Dysrhythmia required for all RNs
    • Must score at least 80% to pass; failure after 3 attempts results in cancellation

Experience Requirements

    • Varicella (titer or 2 vaccines)
  • Drug testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days
  • Flu vaccine required year-round; medical or religious exemptions accepted with facility approval
  • COVID-19 vaccine not required but accepted if available
